He could have given such an order, but that doesn't help us distinguish between self-serving narratives that justify genocide and a command from an actual supernatural being. A tri-omni god could have prevented the errant nations from carrying out their evildoing in any number of ways.
Including horrific tornadoes.
The fact that the acts supposedly carried out by the ancient Hebrews fit the same profile as every other example of humans killing different humans throughout history is a damning indictment of your position.
