We have a lot of strange sayings in England too, some of which are mainly only said in particular areas. Every so often Emma comes out with some bizarre thing and I've no idea what she's talking about!
She thinks it's hilarious, and immediately texts her mum to tell her that I don't know [some stupid thing] means! If I'm lucky, she eventually tells me what it means after she's done laughing at me
