You're still avoiding my question though. Why should we care what yoga says? All you say is that "it makes sense to me", but so what? Why should it make sense to anyone else?
In fact, you've also said that people should use whatever 'makes sense' to them, which throws out the idea of any one of the ideologies having any sort of 'truth' value.
Fat.
If being an atheist make sense to you by all means stay atheist.
That is your life.
As an individual your belief doesn't affect me.
If you enjoy what you do carry on with that.
If eventually one day in this or in a future life you may understand that you have wasted so much of your time chasing a mental masturbation then that will be your personal problem.
To me make a lot of sense to aim at what I perceive the top of the top.
Meditation clear my mind and everything is more and more clear as I go along.
Have you ever experience when your ears get full of water after a swim?
It make you feel bad.
You try again and again but you can't get rid of the water from your ears.
After sometime however that water finally get out and you feel so much better.
Meditation in a way work in the same way.
Once you clear your cakras or glands you feel great and everything is so much clear
but of course if you never practice meditation you wouldn't know what meditation is all about
but as I already said to you carry on with your way.
The time is not a problem.
The physical hell doesn't exist however a mental hell may develop later on when you will realize
that your atheism was all a waste of time that could be better employed try to reach the real McCoy.
