There wasn't a civil war in Cambodia in the early 1990s.  Care to clarify?

Also, could you explain why speaking Thai would help you get posted to Cambodia, where Thai isn't spoken?

Not sure where the kinda dickish response came from, but according to Google there was actually a civil war in Cambodia going up until about '91, and there was some faction-clashing around '97. Not finding much besides that, but there could be details to that period that I'm not seeing on a cursory search. Looks like mostly just political maneuvering between those two years, but it wouldn't surprise me if skirmishes were still unofficially happening throughout that time.

I was removing land mines with the Cambodian Army. There were a lot over there. This is what a mine field looks like.
I personally removed over 100 mines. All Chinese made. (They mined on their own country - supplied by China).





You need to lay of the sauce when doing this type of work. Best to keep steady hands.
