What we observe all over Europe, is a revolution of the disenfranchised. Rightfully so, since they have been left behind after 2008, losing their jobs and livelihoods, whie banks were saved left, right and center. The governments and by proxy, the EU, have initialised austerity programs that again hit workers and ordinary people the most.
These are all valid concerns, and I feel the same backclash in my own life. Which is much worse than it was in the first decade of this millennium. I would love to see all these people unite to push for some productive changes instead of listening to the pied piper on the right. Who, as I said, don't give even less of a shit about what's happening to them than the mainstream politicians. They get their rocks off on some power trip and their nationalist wet dreams, but have zero ideas on how to save the economy, or how to initiate a real reform that isn't build on walls and exclusiveness.
Which is a ridiculous approach, since there are no immigration restrictions for businesses moving to greener pastures, if their particular country doesn't agree with their profits anymore. This isn't the world of grocer Jack, living to the ripe age of 82 anymore, so that the town can eat, if you get my drift.
If not, this is what I meant.
