Yeah, people make alot of mods to their firearms that are nothing if not terrible ideas. A leading cause of "it just went off" -for example, is reducing the pull on the trigger in the hopes that it's a shortcut to accuracy.
OFC, the moment a person talks about how they reduced the pull on their trigger I know -exactly- why they felt the need in the first place. Squeeze...don't pull, Cletus. The pounds of pressure required to pop one off is the -last- thing affecting your shitty shooting.
(Gawd is probably referring to a slide fire kit - the AR version of the 'ole "cowboy slapping his hammer" routine...which is a bit more involved than drilling a hole - not that some gun nuts haven;t fallen for that one either, here again we see that plenty of people on both sides of this issue...shooters and non-shooters alike, have swallowed a hefty amount of koolaid.)
