The majority of crimes are committed by poor people who are desperate, or by people who are filled with rage, hate, and despair. Some crimes are committed by the mentally ill, but most are committed by more or less normal people.

Pol Pot and Hitler manage to kill more people than anybody else and these two guys were mentally sick.

I think we're now at the root of the problem. You do not understand what people mean when they say "mental illness." To the rest of the English-speaking world, a mental illness is a health problem that gets diagnosed and treated by a doctor. Greed, lust, sloth...these are vices, not illnesses. You should stop conflating vices with mental illness. They're not the same thing, and it makes you look like a dumb ass.
