Yes, we all have our faults. The most obvious thing ever uttered in the English language. The thing is though, people usually say it as if that justifies their behaviour. No, it actually doesn't. You do have your faults, but once your attention is brought to them it becomes your moral responsibility(if you will) to actively work on them. At least if you're still looking to hold some sort of moral high ground, which you definitely seem to seek if you're attempting to excuse yourself in the first place.
And what purpose does it even serve anyway? Does it make you feel better to repeat this little mantra? It seems to me, you either care or you don't. If you don't why even bother bullshitting. *I'm not talking to you, specifically, of course, but you know what I'm saying*
