We have a liberal lefty...Do you read any newspapers like the Guardian or watch any channels that have a particular bias? For example, it happened to a friend of mine once in a nightclub. He was minding his own business with his girlfriend and then these two black guys started on him for one reason or another. To cut a long story short, he suffered a broken jaw, split lip and bruising above his eye. Guess what happened next. Yup, the police interviewed the aggressors and they made up a story about him giving them some racist abuse (I know full well that he isn't and never will be) and they let them go. This brings us back to the "white privilege thread", where all is not what it seems. Remember, all you know or want to know is from the large cities and not some town in England, but it does go on.

Wait...are you calling me a 'liberal lefty' because I asked for an example?  You don't seem to know anything about me, Robert. And I read a bunch of different news sources, though not usually UK ones, to be honest (as I live in the US).  And one anecdote from you doesn't really have any bearing on your statement that I bolded.
