Beliefs aren't determined by preference. Not by people who hold their beliefs accountable to standards more rigorous than wishful thinking.
Yeah, I go by personal experience and plausibility of universal order worked out on my own, with ample support after the fact from multiple religious stories/views and current scientific evidence. I prefer beliefs that are logical, predictive and backed up by evidence and I have already slain many previous beliefs. Such is the work of growing and pruning one's soul.
