It's only crazy if you live your life worrying about it or looking forward to it. When and if it happens, it happens, just like shit happens. It shouldn't affet what we do in our daily lives. Those that have to change their lives because of some perceived impending disaster, aren't really living the kind of life they want are they? I'm quite happy with my life the way it is, although I'd rather it be living it in GA at the moment.
There is no "If" tacky, it's all complete bullshit.
You can't seriously tell me you think Jesus is going to come swooping down from the sky with his army of angels to raise the dead and take everyone who believes the contents of an ancient Jewish myth with him do you? How do they manage to convince reasonable people of such utter nonsense? Mother Goose is literally more plausible than that...
I actually do believe in the rapture Void. I also know fully well that I won't ever see it coming if it even comes when I'm alive. I also know full well it does me no good worrying or hoping for it. I believe it will happen, I know I don't know when. I'm not trying to convince anyone of it, and as it doesn't affect my daily decisions or thinking, I don't see where it's any affect to anyone but I. When it happens, it'll be too late to rethink your position most likely.
"There ought to be a term that would designate those who actually follow the teachings of Jesus, since the word 'Christian' has been largely divorced from those teachings, and so polluted by fundamentalists that it has come to connote their polar opposite: intolerance, vindictive hatred, and bigotry." -- Philip Stater, Huffington Post
