auwww yes,
Sometimes I really miss the old faith. I'm taken back to a time when I wasn't allowed to listen to any kind of secular music, or go to the movie theater, or watch sit-coms on TV, or attend a public high school, or go over to a friend's house because his parents were Lutheran. I remember my mom only being allowed to wear dresses down to her heels and my sister being punished for holding a boy's hand. I remember those wonderful times when my dad would pray for the waitress tending our table while she was standing right there. I remember being told that I was the "salt of the earth" and that I should feel proud when someone mocks me and constantly being reminded that god gives us hardships to show how much he loves us. Auwwww yes, those wonderful times. I remember being terrified that god might send a 6 year-old to hell for being sinful. O yeah, I sometimes really miss that peaceful love of god.
