No, but I do believe good evidence exists which demonstrates allowing a transgendered person to live their life according to the gender their brain identifies with is an effective therapeutic plan for many of those individuals. Why you feel the need to stand in the way of that is beyond me.
Quote:Straight men and women also are not allowed to use the restroom designated for the opposite sex. Having common sense laws is not unjust discrimination.
Since when did sexual orientation become a part of this discussion? You understand that sexual preference and gender identity are two different things, yes? And what in the world does sexual orientation have to do with urinating and defecating? I, for one, had no idea bathrooms were so sexy. [emoji848]
Quote:I don't know the last time I saw a women in the men's restroom. If I did she probably appeared to be a man.
Exactly. And that hasn't disrupted your life thus far, correct?
Quote:That's why I'm calling for people to love and respect each other. And that's why I believe there should be a separate facility for people with problems about the sexual segregation of restrooms. Straight people who don't care could also use the alternative bathrooms
Again Lek, "gay" and "transgendered" are not synonyms. You can "call" for love and respect all you want, but your position reeks of bigotry, discrimination, and willful ignorance. Not to mention, it's completely void of evidence in favor.
