The idea that porn and certain kinks and fetishes are taking over all of our minds because we have easy access to it is ridiculous. People were crazy about sex and had weird kinks for thousands of years. In fact I just read a primary source from the Victorian era that included a newspaper ad for "grandma" porn. And internet porn causing more violence against women? I don't see why that would be the case. There are tons of extreme BDSM videos with men "torturing" women but there are also tons of extreme BDSM videos of women "torturing" men. As far as rape fantasies go, if there were no porn videos that went to that extreme, then it's quite possible the men would take it upon themselves to satisfy that fantasy. I'd much rather a psycho get off on a fake porn video then actually assault and rape a woman, wouldn't you?
