I am sorry to hear this. I can potentially be in the same shitty spot because one of my brothers and I think my sister subscribes to this pseudo fucking piece of shit 'science'. I fear the day he gets children, I fear the day he misleads someone in the family or anyone else for that matter and brings harm because of that bullshit. When my dad had cancer IIRC my brother and sister had this list of pseudosciencey shit that he should do, I don't know if that was the case since I didn't get to know much about it, but I'm unfortunately quite sure it was. He still got the treatment he needed, so that was a plus.
It's insane that someone intelligent in many ways can be so dumb in other ways. They don't understand that every sane fucking person would love it if you could cure cancer by smoking fucking weed or eating that shitty superfood in the middle of Africa's deepest forests but that is not the case and their fucking wishful thinking can lead to the death of someone.
Now we have vaccines, yet people are so fucking idiotic, I can't describe it with words. Some people still die of measles when they don't need to.
