Then you are sensible in that sense. Having children when you cannot afford to is just not an option.
Some find themselves in hard times after having children. Others simply never have that choice. To say it's not an option is to say that the poor shouldn't breed. I've been up and down myself. Lost my house, my vehicle, my job......got a new one - but it took awhile...I'm still just falling into it. Family of mine's size, in the state I was living in, qualified for assistance at 80k a year. Not because we're particularly generous with welfare, but because they expect a person with my dependents to be impoverished under 80k a year.
We were, it sucked ass. It would be worse if we were here when it happened. This state is stingy as hell with social programs...strange, considering the fucking usory taxes we pay. The plan here, openly espoused by government..is to very literaly starve people off welfare. Somehow, they think that will work.
I am the Infantry. I am my country’s strength in war, her deterrent in peace. I am the heart of the fight… wherever, whenever. I carry America’s faith and honor against her enemies. I am the Queen of Battle. I am what my country expects me to be, the best trained Soldier in the world. In the race for victory, I am swift, determined, and courageous, armed with a fierce will to win. Never will I fail my country’s trust. Always I fight on…through the foe, to the objective, to triumph overall. If necessary, I will fight to my death. By my steadfast courage, I have won more than 200 years of freedom. I yield not to weakness, to hunger, to cowardice, to fatigue, to superior odds, For I am mentally tough, physically strong, and morally straight. I forsake not, my country, my mission, my comrades, my sacred duty. I am relentless. I am always there, now and forever. I AM THE INFANTRY! FOLLOW ME!
