One of the most heavily fortified sites in prehistory appears to have been decidedly matriarchal (to the great dismay of many feminists). Whoever the lady was who ran it, she liked to skewer a motherfucker. History has, since, been filled with no end of examples of women every bit as violent, warlike, and aggressive as men.
