Passenger aircraft are typically pressurized at about 8 psi. I imagine it would affect heat convection more than heat conduction ... but these phones seem to be cooking off at ground pressures too.
Doesn't that scare you, knowing that there are people who are willing to disregard the rules and peoples lives just because they cannot use their telephone during a 1-2 hour flight (I say this since it takes just over an hour to fly to Birmingham from Paris.)?
