I don't care too much about trying to find meaning in life.
Besides, I'm of the opinion if we existed forever in some sort of conscious state in an afterlife, existence then would be entirely meaningless. Endless repetitions, no moment different from another, and eventually perpetual boredom.
Life is precious exactly because it is limited and fragile, IMO. Depends on how you look at it, I guess. Someone might think because they don't live forever actions won't matter because they won't be around to see their effects for long, even if our actions in life will echo for eternity in their impact on the Universe.
I live for the moment, although life is ultimately meaningless, that doesn't stop me from creating meaning in my own life.
