No, I'm still in town. His treatment's gone long, should be over at 5 pm, instead of 3 as planned, so now I get to deal with rush hour on the MoPac. Or I can face I-35 -- real Devil-and-the-deep-blue-sea stuff. Yay me!

This has certainly brought the California driver in me back out, today.

Yeah, I'd do it again. On the bright side, in browsing the thrift stores here, I found a hardcover copy of Gulag Archipelago for four bucks, and a huge pictorial history of WWII for the same price. Also, a magazine rack for my bathroom. Yes, bathroom.
