I just did a math proof and felt that it just didn't add up. It turns out that I mistakenly read part of one problem and fused it with the text of another problem. This reminds me of something my teachers used to say: "be sure you know what the question is asking before you answer it." IMO, this lesson can also be applied to the classroom of life: it's all too easy to jump into things and draw conclusions based on an incomplete understanding of others and the environments that continually surround us.
