He is looking to put the US back on track to being a sovereign nation who's citizens can decide for themselves how they want to live. We can not do that if we are under the yoke of a singular world government.
I'm not sure I understand your problem with a single world government, since that would presumably herald the imminent fulfillment of Revelation, as you seem to interpret it. Isn't that a 'necessary evil' in your scheme of things?
Note: I'm not an advocate of one-world government, so don't tar me with that brush.
Look I am happy to embrace the second coming, I'd even be willing to give my seat in the rapture if it meant I could drag a few more of your monkey men to heaven with me. And I would like to be known in Heaven as having lived in the 'last generation' as I think it would be as notable/honorable as having walked with Christ.

The goal of a bible based christian is not to simply get to heaven, it is to serve and do the works and will of God. If the currency of heaven is the good work we do here in this life, then I am in trouble as I have thrown caution to the wind and tossed my lot in with you 'good' people. Meaning if you are so bound and determined to welcome what the bible so clearly predicts to be the end, then I have much still to do and need the time to do it.
