If your depiction is correct then what does that say for Clinton? That she is so inept she could not defeat a racist, mysoginist, willfully ignorant fear monger.
That was always a serious concern about a Clinton candidacy. The democratic establishment ignored that at the institutional level, and dem voters didn't want to believe it on a personal level.
