Exactly why I didn't vote for Hillary, and I keep telling people the same thing....they ignored the reality of the situation, that Trumps message appealed to bigots and there were enough bigots to elect him....far north of the mason dixon, even -in- their little "blue wall"...as the following footage of a wisconsin trump rally plainly shows;

I was out of touch.  I did think we had become better than that.  A lot of people thought he was such an obvious monstrous joke, it was inconceivable people would vote for him if they weren't bigots (particularly when it is quite clear to anyone with 2 brain cells that he WON'T be helping the middle and lower class get jobs or better wages).  So those who voted for him and are not bigots are just easily fooled and stupid.  They voted against their own interest, and against everyone else's well, just because they be mad bro.  Yep, I was shocked by the level of stupidity and bigotry combined.  Thanks for educating me, America.

So the middle class whites are the ones who broke for him, including educated males.  Their reasoning is supposed to be that they are struggling so much, they couldn't afford to care about the racist, xenophobic shit.
