I know better, though, because they're my people...and I've -always- known them and every little suppressed hobgoblin of their minds has been clear to me since childhood, lol. It wasn't just the money that will never materialize.....
.....all that other shit stroked something the left had told them was dirty.....and it felt soooooo good, especially since somebody else was saying it, and they didn't have to deflect the criticism personally. That's what all this "PC" shit is about.
Well, I'm not sure how to define middle class, but my source was:
The census Bureau defines middle class above the $30k line, below the 100k line, roughly.
So yes, between 30 and 50 did break for clinton, but everyone in the demographic who made over 50k went (though only slightly) for Trump. It was actually close to 50/50.
Those who made under $50k went Clinton. I have other sources that say the same thing.
Seems like poorer people actually went for clinton, and the more middle class and well to do for Trump, though barely
Since we can see that nonwhite educated people overwhelmingly voted Clinton, I can see racism played a factor. When the educated whites where closer to 50/50, they still went trump. Though if you break out white women:
White women
43 Clinton
53 Trump
White women college graduates
51 Clinton
45 Trump
White women non-college graduates
34 Clinton
62 Trump
White women in general still voted Trump (thanks ladies), though educated women went for Clinton. Non educated women overwhelmingly went Trump.
But we do know women can be just as sexist against women as men, so I'd still say it's pretty clear that sexism is a factor (looking at the college educated number of female's vs college educated males).
I'm probably just rambling at this point, lol. There's so much info to process.
How does that work, exactly ?
