I know this has been a few pages back but it stuck out to me.
Personally I don't have any issue with people calling themselves whatever they like, though you have to admit it's no small wonder why so many people shit on the feminist label these days. You know, what with all the non-issue virtue signaling, name calling, racist, well-poisoners you have constantly in the limelight.
Honestly, I just see that as people picking out the worst examples and pointing fingers at the larger group because of it. It's the same thing that happens with partisan politics. The finger pointing is so overdone that I end up just rolling my eyes at it eventually. It gets nothing done.
