There are distinct limits. Let's say you're cynical ass wants to keep the Blacks out so you always deny them because they're "assholes".

All a prosecutor has to do is prove that you're practicing invidious discrimination through de facto refusal of service disproportionately towards Black clientele. The "asshole" excuse falls apart on using a sentinel (a person) to test the waters.
