I don't know. It might do, I don't know if any of the atheists I now have - would seem very unlikely though...
Usually it's a process of reasoning not just one banner. But it's not impossible I was just saying "How do you know?" - people convert/deconvert for a number of reasons, I can't speak for everyone - nor can I at all entirely speak for ANYONE (but myself).
My opinion is that usually it seems to me to be a shift in viewing the world that develops through a change of reasoning. A shift of beliefs, whether gaining them or dropping them. Perhaps it could be thought of or similar to a paradigm shift?
Mainly I agree in the advertising of both sides because of free speech and also because the atheist banners promote atheism which I agree with... AND I also think opposing sides should have the right to promote their views too - otherwise it's not really fair is it!
