Atheism doesn't "deny god". It is a specialized subset of skepticism and critical thinking; the position of not automatically accepting theistic claims. Why do so many theists have trouble with such a simple concept?

That's an interesting tidbit about yourself, but you're not atheism. No one said there are no atheists who deny God. The claim was that atheism is not a synonym for 'denying God/s'.
