But it's very difficult to pick it up on ultrasound earlier than 6 weeks into pregnancy. I have never heard of anyone seeing a heart beat at 4 weeks pregnant. 4 weeks after conception is approx. 6 weeks pregnant since you're counting the two week prior to conception.
I was 6 weeks pregnant, which is 4 weeks after conception. It's weird, but for some reason they start counting the pregnancy on the day of your last period, even though conception doesn't happen until about 2 weeks after that if your cycle is regular.
