I don't see automation seeping into the fashion and beauty industry. A big reason is that robots don't have the ability to listen to what a client wants or may need. My career is all about 1- making a client look good, 2- making a client feel good, 3- being an active listener, 4- having excellent communication skills, 5- building up a repoire with your client and I'm in one of the few industries where I am allowed to touch people.
I think automation will have an impact in many other lines of work, but fields in which human contact and interaction is essential, you're not going to see it. Those are the fields that people just may be fighting over in the future, especially if most other lines of work are taken over by robots. I could be wrong, as I can't see the future, but since the conversation has turned in that direction and the OP has failed to address or acknowledge my post earlier, I thought I'd give my 0.02 cents worth the whole robot thing.
