My reaction is the same as with the comics. I enjoy individual ones, even series. But they're so tied up with each other, you can hardly turn a page without seeing a footnote directing you to some other issue of a completely different title, just to get the context of whatever's going on in this one. As far as I can see, the films are going the same incestuously-referential way.
