I think there is a very high probability that there are beings in the universe which have advanced to the point where we could not distinguish between naturally evolved beings and supernatural gods.

You're a hoot, Min. Your pessimism aside, evolution works. There was complex life on this planet for at least 476 million years (based on the Cambrian Explosion to the death of the dinosaurs) before it lead to what we would call, "intelligence". So intelligence only happened on this planet because of a big, fucking asteroid. And yeah, that so-called intelligence led to Republicans. There are advances and setbacks in evolution but it inevitably moves forward. We wouldn't be here if that were not true. So yeah, I think it is a given that some beings in this universe have advanced to the point that we could not tell them apart from what we would call gods.
