Why do we live? Because we were born. Why? Because our parents had sex? Why? To make children. Why? Because they wanted a family. Why? They wanted to fulfil their goals for life. Why? Being a deist - my "why question" is simply, Why Bother?

If there is/was a creator - why would he care about the actions in our silly mundane lives?? Why would god care about who you're fucking? or what you're drinking? what you're piercing? the music you listen to? what you do on Sundays? or what movie you went to see?
Why would God even bother with setting up sin, sacrifices, redemption, atonement and condemnation after making you what you are??

Why bother? Answer -- He wouldn't.

Religion is stupid. The devout are brainwashed, and sacred books have no more credibility than The Brother's Grimm.
