It's signing up for selective service in an era in which there is about zero chance of the government initiating a draft, since the military has made it perfectly clear that they want no part of one ever again, if it can be helped. So not only do we have to fill out a short form, but then we have to submit it with a fair certainty that we will never be forced to serve in the military.

You poor thing! I never knew you guys had it so bad! Wow, when it's put like that. *a single tear drop appears in my eye* I feel your pain! Oh the horrors of filling out a short form that will likely never have any effect on your life! It's just too much to bare! Why won't someone... get rid of this pointless system that oppresses so many? Is it because minorities have been in charge for so long? that's it, isn't it! Oh my gosh, I've never seen the privilege we have.
