It makes more sense to forget about original sin, focus on sin, and ask why would atheists believe in sin?
Sin is a transgression of divine law. If atheists don't believe in the divine then why believe in divine law?
Fucking crazy question to ask why don't atheists believe in original sin.
Unless you mean sin defined as some other meaning like doing something wrong, or eating chocolate when you're on a diet plan or something.
Additionally as other people mentioned I think you actually got the definition of original sin wrong anyway. I'm sure that what it basically means is that people are born with sin when they haven't done anything wrong.

Are you ready for the fire? We are firemen. WE ARE FIREMEN! The heat doesn’t bother us. We live in the heat. We train in the heat. It tells us that we’re ready, we’re at home, we’re where we’re supposed to be. Flames don’t intimidate us. What do we do? We control the flame. We control them. We move the flames where we want to. And then we extinguish them.
Impersonation is treason.
