I have been single for a bit now.
Best part: Im alone, but LOVE my company. I love silence (on the days I don't have the kids). I love to hear myself think. I enjoy taking myself out on dates. The kids don't have to see us fight 24/7. I get to date other people.
Worst part: I want affection and I don't have it half the week when the kids are with dad. I want someone to cuddle with.

I thought you and Empress were together, for whatever reason. 

I'm sorry about the emotional/verbal abuse from your ex husband. That's awful.  Undecided
