Hey everyone i'm an American Moroccan and I was born in Saudi Arabia. As a young kid I witnessed how Islam took a hold of other people around me. Men used to look at my mother and I when walking down the street and ask "Where's your man?!". After a few years there, I then moved to the UAE. In the UAE I became reluctant to follow Islam and started having serious doubts about it. I became a closet Atheist and questioned my Islamic teacher until she became blue in the face. She kept coming back at me telling me "EVOLUTION IS JUST A THEORY!" I couldn't accept that given the overwhelming evidence to support it. I have witnessed around me how religion affects people's behavior and their world view. Many of the people that went to school with me were religious hypocrites who would tell me to stop talking at parties when the "ahthan (prayer call) was being sounded. They would continue their vodka when the call ended ! I'm currently in Morocco but will be going to Purchase New York shortly to attend Purchase University. =) I have now become an Agnostic Atheist. How is everyone doing
