RE: Trump vows to destroy the law limiting churches' political activity

I see politics as one more reason to schism. Like 70000+ flavors of Christianity ain't enough ?
It is more a flavor of corruption, and division too. What will pols do when they are getting missives from the various religiousites pulling in 3 different directions ? And when the churchy folks start fighting over public money? (like they aren't worshipping Mammon enough as it is)
Just in my lifetime, (since the 60s for me when I hit sentience) the 'theological mutation rate' has noticeably accelerated, and just in the last few years, there has been an even faster devolution of piety and faith.
Irrelevancy and meaninglessness can only be enhanced by this doomed policy.
The churchy folks aren't going to appreciably affect the pols in any way we would consider 'biblical', and I can guaranty intimate exposure to the pols will continue to erode, dissolve, sully, and infect the essence and purity of what even now passes for 'faith'.

The granting of a pardon is an imputation of guilt, and the acceptance a confession of it.
