In very short terms hate can be shown as bad because hate inhibits team effort. The lone warrior is a myth.
Logically speaking team effort is much more productive than single effort, not always true but generally speaking team effort is better. If hate inhibits team effort thereby negatively impacting productivity it will have a degenerative effect on society.

When hate have a negative impact on society it fails to align with the group interest of the society (which is to improve itself) thereby becoming an immoral act.
