Quote:Although some people may be lying to get attention, I am sure that the two examples I gave were not lies."Lies or life after death" doesn't seem like we've exhausted all possibilities or explanations, to me.
Quote:Even if that means there is another explanation we do not know about.-or one that we do know about but that, for whatever reason....you've omitted, ofc.
Quote:How would you atheists react to some of these things if you were to give the claimer the benefit of the doubt that he/she was not lying?I generally reserve my conclusion of "lying sack of shit" for demonstrable liars...not people who claim to have experienced this that or the other. I once saw a demon scurry across US-19. It was 3am, I was heavily drugged, and there was no demon on US-19 that night or anywhere else...nor has there ever been...but I -did- see it. Make of that what you will...
Are the only options A: Khem is a Liar, or, B: There are demons.....and would some unexplained bit of something somewhere lend any credence to either option a or option b? No one knows where all the socks go that disappear from the dryer..that;s unexplained...is that supportive of demons -or- of my being a liar?
