There was a game called Hugo.. something. I don't even know how popular it was. It was on a mysterious floppy disc with a bunch of other games that appeared in my house at some point. Seemed like that shit used to happen more often.
Anyways, you just typed stuff in and he'd walk around and find objects. The graphics were shit and I don't remember having fun, but I played it all the time. I think because it worked properly.
Had the same experience with a game called Journeyman but that game had pretty sweet graphics in that time.

I can't remember where this verse is from, I think it got removed from canon:
