For self proclaimed critical thinkers employing the Socratic model to examine the empirical evidence with minimal assumptions and complete objectivity, there sure seems to be a lot of name calling, denial, and bias for other views.
The likely problem was in the word plausible, which does not mean the same as possible. Plausible means you think it is likely to happen and you give it more credit than other possibilities. It has a lot more weight to it than just saying "I haven't ruled it out". I think I know what you mean now, but it did seem a bit unreasonable before you cleared it up in this post.
