Not really; you're projecting here I think. Taxes are a consequence of, and the price for, living in a civilized society. As such, I don't mind paying my share. I like many of the things my taxes buy, some not so much.

I'd like to see defense spending shrink substantially, and increased spending on programs to help those who are less fortunate. We do a pretty shitty job of that compared to what we could do.
