Fred, I don't think what Madonna did is the cause of any of these problems, nor aggravates them, and she is probably also aware of the problems you mention which rich countries cause by e.g. dumping their waste there. Africa doesn't have the problem that the younger generation is under represented as we have in some Western countries. The righteous anger against these adoptioms to me looks like kind of a populist substitute struggle for solving the actual problems, speaking to the bruised African ego (they think they are better than us...).
The feeling this might evoke that "I can't take care of my children" is a very powerful one, but fighting the adoptions neither makes anyone's lives better as far as I am aware, and it is fighting the symptoms. I dare say it's not about the children, it's about ego. And about railing up support by appealing to emotions - "they take away out children!", hard to imagine a more effective battle cry. But a handful of African children getting adopted is not the cause of human potential being lost in Africa, that's due to millions of children not getting access to stable conditions and education, squandering huge amounts of potential. That this is in part caused by past imperialism is probably true, but the socialist party is really selling the victim card hard here.

The fool hath said in his heart, There is a God. They are corrupt, they have done abominable works, there is none that doeth good.
