I enjoyed reading and comparing between your experience and mine. I grew up in a liberal Lutheran (ELCA) house as well and had an older sister who had borderline personality disorder.
In addition, I've also long been accustomed to debt growing up and the threat of losing everything. I am glad things improved and you "found yourself".
It may have taken you ten years on walkabout, but the end result is just as sweet -- self discovery, knowledge of self acceptance.
I'm glad you enjoyed reading my jumbled story. If you have your story here I'll try to find it and read it, I'm sure I'd enjoy reading it. I don't know much about borderline personality disorder, as much as I want to help out with the understanding of mental disorders.
Yeah you know what it's like, I think it's pretty common these days. When I said in my story that my parents couldn't work, I meant they had their own small businesses. One is long gone but the other my only sister is dealing with still and is legally required to save boxes of documents for some years. Their business collapse is why my parents and I moved out of michigan. They found work in illinois and I have just been trying to find myself, I'm hoping to go to community college at least.
It's taken me some years yeah, I'm freshly 20 so I have a life ahead of me, I'm excited to explore it.
I can't help but notice your avatar being a Protoss, and your signature indicating that you are an Ent. I too like the protoss although I only played most of the story of 1 and brood war and the story of 2 with the exception of expansions. The computer I have now doesn't work well but in the future I might get into starcraft more competitively. It's very interesting. I might get back into WoW although I'm wary of it's time sucking powers. Also if you're in Ent in the sense that I know, smoke/vape on tree brother.
