I was 18 and foolish - like many young men. Also, consider the time. Internet wasn't around. Information about BJU wasn't readily available (in fact, they're still very secretive). Yes, I knew it was a christian college - I just didn't know the extreme extent of their fanaticism.
What the hell, I'll just ask: what did you think about their interracial dating policy that was still around when you were there? [Yes, it appears that it took this long to get to their policies towards race relations.] Of course, it's not like they allowed people to do anything on said dates.
