Everything I can find from actual scholarly publications seems to point to there still being controversy/ongoing study. Everything that supports your argument is an opinion piece written as a philosophy paper or the like. You can't just keep saying, "studies show." What studies? Where are the links? You think I'm just sitting too firmly on the fence, but you just keep saying shit without backing it up.
You're the one doubting the IOC, which is what the poll is about. The burden is on you because you are making the claim that they could be wrong. You can't even explain why you have doubt.
Wrong. I haven't made a single, solitary claim. Saying someone *could* be wrong isn't saying they are. You are claiming they are right, but none of you can be bothered to provide a single link to a peer-reviewed study on the topic, so . . .
Khemical, are you for real? You guys can just keep saying whatever you want until the cows come home. It doesn't make it true. Who just makes a decision on a subject based on some randoms on the Internet, one of whom is so angry and sanctimonious that it's hard to take her seriously, and the other of which just keeps repeating himself and telling people they are wrong without actually referencing these mythical studies he keeps mentioning? Cite your sources. A decision made by an organization doesn't count. You can cite the studies that led to that decision, assuming they were done correctly, were peer-reviewed, etc. I'm not going to do your research for you.
