I get what you're saying Brian, but when did I say that liberals love violence?  I'm just pointing to real life events.  I wouldn't say that all liberals love violence.  As far as what you said above goes, if you replace the word "hate" with "dislike", I would agree with much, but not all, of what of what you said.

Then why did you bring it up? There are violent people who hold all positions, but those people, are always the minority in any population. Most whites are not violent, most blacks are not violent, most Arabs are not violent, most humans are not violent. 

I hate people avoiding using the word "hate". Even that should be given context. There is nothing wrong with having ANY emotion, even "hate".  

"I hate broccoli", 
"I hate soccer"
"I hate bad logic"
"I hate bigots"

Now show me where anyone should think that is the same kind of "hate" as "I want you dead"? 

No, I will still us the word "hate" because I do think everyone should "hate" violence and bigotry. I do think everyone should hate attacks on science or ignorance of facts. 

I love my species CAPABILITY of great compassion, but I am NOT obligated to water down pointing out when my fellow humans act on their beliefs that lead them to harm others by law or mob. I do hate that and I will call out even my fellow atheists too. I will call out my fellow liberals too.

That insistence to always play nice with words, is far too often used by BOTH liberals and conservatives to avoid a conversation that is needed. Imagine if more people in Europe when Hitler started making noise, when he was in a small group, when he first started, if enough Germans had cared enough to hate his language. 

The biggest reason I am blunt here, isn't a call for the end of free speech, or to demand nobody even offend me or other atheists. Right now we are seeing a scary rise of far right nationalism here and in Europe. Even Turkey has moved to a more religious authoritarian view. 

Hyper nationalism and political demagoguery are dangerous as political tactics long term. Everyone should hate that regardless of party or religion. 

There is a huge difference between private free speech and the role of a western politician.
