I worked in a hospital, just after 9/11 some of our doctors startred writing dates the american way i.e. the wrong way. A stiff memo went round saying that this practice was screwing with the computers and the general running of the hospital. soon sanity was restored.
Why would you say the month before the date? its day, month, year going up in order anyhting else is just madness.
